Edible Birdhouses

Nashville artist Patricia Sellers creates enchanting edible homes for Indiana’s birds.  Patricia has always loved nature, animals and the birds.  Her Brown County organic farm is the source for her artistic medium as well as its inspiration.  On her farm she raises horses, chickens, guinea hens, fruit, vegetables, over 100 varieties of flowers, and, rows and rows of all the fixings needed to create her feeders. Reminiscent of Welsh country cottages, these houses are made of broomcorn, millet, Indian corn, sunflower hearts and straw flowers. Each  edible home is a masterpiece of seed, pods, moss, and other earthly findings.
